As this week marked the start to the 2024-2025 college basketball season, Cooper Flagg had his debut in Duke blue on Monday, November 4.
Flagg previously reclassed to graduate a year early and was one the most desired recruits in the country. Starting off his career, Flagg dropped 18 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, with a total of 30 minutes on the court helping to lead his team to a 96-62 win over Maine. They play again on Friday, November 8 at 6 pm, facing off against Army West Point.
After this, Duke has a rough future ahead, playing ranked teams like Kentucky, Arizona, Kansas, Auburn, and UNC throughout the season. With a challenging schedule like this, can they protect their ranking, or even rise to the top?
