All month long, Tibby’s New Orleans Kitchen has been celebrating Mardi Gras.
They added special menu items, such as the King Cake. It has a limited daily supply. Other special menu items are Cajun Wings, Crawfish Enchiladas, Alligator Street Tacos, and Ribeye Po’Boy. There is also live music.
Celebrations will end on Fat Tuesday, March 4th: Mardi Gras Day. Fat Tuesday is a catholic tradition that marks the last day of fatty foods such as red meat before Lent, which starts the Wednesday after. Now, Mardi Gras is not only a way to mark the last day before Lent but a full celebration, especially in New Orleans, the capital of Mardi Gras parades.
Tibby’s has two locations, 2203 Aloma Ave, Winter Park, FL, and one in Altamonte, 494 FL-436, Altamonte Springs, FL.
