The Florida Gators fell to the Georgia Bulldogs on Tuesday night, February 25.
After trailing by up to 26 points at one point, Florida made an attempt to come back in the second half. They faced a 78-67 deficit and went on a 13-0 run to take the lead 80-78, but it just wasn’t good enough for Georgia guard Blue Cain, who ended the Gator’s run by drilling a 3 pointer.
The Bulldogs went on to win the game 88-83, ending their 4-game losing streak and Florida’s 12-game winning streak. This upset has boosted hopes for Georgia making their first tournament appearance since 2015.
