From July 21-25 and 28-31, the Winter Park High School Sound of the Wildcats band participated in band camp from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at Glenridge Middle School.
Led by band teachers Mike Clemente, Reagan O’Rourke, and student section leaders, band camp consists of learning music for the year, practicing marching, and engaging in team-building activities such as making posters and playing games.
This is an exciting start to the year for our musical Wildcats, who are almost ready to perform songs from this year’s theme, Spanish Images, at Friday night football games.
