Walt Disney World Resort has been offering a new benefit for all on-site resort guests- any guest may visit either of Disney’s two water parks, Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, on the day of check-in. These tickets will automatically appear alongside guests’ reservations for all members of the staying party in the My Disney Experience App.

Guests are encouraged to check into their resort early on check in day, regardless of if their room is ready. They are able to leave their luggage with the bell services and utilize Disney’s free bus transportation to enjoy either of their water parks for the day.

As of right now, this perk is currently valid for stays beginning before December 31st, 2025, but Walt Disney World has confirmed via their website that it will be returning at some point in summer of 2026.

Both of the water parks offer a similar variety of attractions, featuring water slides, wave pools, lazy rivers, and kid-focused splash pad areas. They also have options for dining and shopping. While both parks are currently open daily, their hours of operation and schedules are subject to change. It is not uncommon for Disney to only have one of their water parks open at a time.
