College Football’s game of the week is an afternoon kickoff, with #15 Tennessee versus #6 Georgia in Neyland Stadium. The Bulldogs are slight 3.5 point favorites, with Georgia taking the last eight matchups in a row. Joey Aguilar will have his say though, as the veteran Quarterback looks to stun the dogs at home.
Along with Tennessee – Georgia, the SEC offers another intriguing matchup with Florida against LSU. The Gators are coming off of a heart-breaking loss to USF the previous week, after a stunning walk-off field goal by the Bulls.
LSU followed up their win against Clemson, with a solid defensive win versus Louisiana Tech. The Tiger’s defense held the Bulldogs to just seven points, and previously, Clemson to just ten points. Florida will need a big performance from quarterback DJ Lagway, after a lackluster performance versus USF’s defense.
After Clemson’s disappointing loss in week one, and underwhelming win versus Troy, the Tigers look to make a statement versus the Yellow Jackets. But Georgia Tech has already shown their strength, defeating Colorado, and jumping out to a 2-0 start. Cade Klubnik and Haynes King are two of the ACC’s best quarterbacks, both having high expectations and aspirations. The Tigers are favored by just 3.5 points, and are on the road in a hostile environment. The Yellow Jackets might just have enough in them to pull off the upset, but there’s only one way to find out.
