Super Bowl Predictions
February 8, 2022
The Super Bowl is the championship game for Professional football. It has served as the final game of every season since 1966. After the regular football season is over, the National Football League (NFL) moves into the playoffs, which decides which teams will move onto the Super Bowl. “Championship Sunday”, is considered the super bowl where an AFC and NFC will compete to win, and this year it’s held on January 31, 2022. The American Football Championship (AFC) game will be between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Kansas City Chiefs in Kansas City. Many predictions are saying the Chiefs beat the Bengals in the championship game. “Kansas City is a seven-point favorite in the latest Chiefs vs. Bengals odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the over-under for total points scored is 54.5.” says CBS sports.
The other teams fighting for the Super Bowl spot are playing in the National Football Championship (NFC). The Los Angeles Rams and the San Francisco 49ers are going head to head in the SoFI Stadium. Many predictions, including mine, say the San Francisco 49ers will win against the Rams in the NFC and take on the Super Bowl. “ The NFC West rivals earned trips to this contest with two wins apiece in the 2022 NFL playoffs, as the Rams toppled the Cardinals and Buccaneers, while the 49ers beat the Cowboys and Packers.
This year the Superbowl will be held on the second Sunday in February. This is the latest that a Super Bowl has ever been held. Super Bowls 44, 50, and 55 all were held on Feb. 7, which was previously the record for the latest Super Bowl. The current plan is to play the game in SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, home of the LA Chargers and LA Rams. After a six-year gap, the Super Bowl will return to Golden State for Super Bowl LV.
The super bowl is often known for the amazing halftime shows by big time artists. Singers like Stevie Wonder, Gloria Estefan, Justin Timberlake, The Rolling Stones, Lady Gaga, Maroon 5, The Weeknd, Bruno Mars, Jennifer Lopez, and Shakira have all performed at the Super Bowl halftime shows. This Year 2022, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar will perform for the first time on stage together at the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show. The game should be interesting and overall a good time.
