Students in Advanced Placement Art, taught by Mrs. McKean, so far have presented their summer assignments they completed during break including paintings, museum studies, and pages done in their IWB’s. This allowed students to get to know other students as well as getting inspiration for their own artwork. The class is currently working on an assignment titled “Look Up” where students are instructed to take pictures of what they see when they look up throughout their day. For their next project, students will bring in an object of significance to draw and study. The class focuses on having students share subjects that they are interested in and creating original, unique pieces.
