The fall sports season has officially kicked into full gear, and Winter Park’s varsity swimming team is no exception. After tryouts on July 31st and August 9th, the 41-strong roster for this year’s team was selected.
“Living up to the 26 State Swimming & Diving Championships this school has won over the years is always tough,” Coach Joseph Auer said when asked about his goals for this year. “But getting us back to a statewide powerhouse has always been one of the goals, and getting 2nd a few times in the last 5 years is a great start.”
The swimming and diving team have their next meet on Wednesday, September 6th, at home.
