The Wildcats showed their A-game  Friday night when they beat Evans 28-0 in the yearly homecoming game. The Wildcats are showing for a very promising season. After a shutout game Friday night, they now have a record of 4-1 and an upcoming away game this Friday against Hagerty. Very high expectations are being made for the rest of the season for this Wildcats football team. 

The Wildcats deferred the first quarter and an action-packed game began. During the first quarter, Keyondre Jones #6 had a touchdown which wrapped up the first quarter with a score of 7-0. The second quarter started off with the Wildcats defense blocking a field goal attempt, and a touchdown from Zion Gunn #5 wish ended the second quarter with a score of 14-0.

During the second-quarter safety, Rahsaun Mitchell #14 was taken off the field after going down on a punt return. He was taken to the hospital and the prognosis was a broken and dislocated ankle . Rahsaun will sadly be out for the rest of the season. 

The second half started up with a caught interception by Wil Watson #20, a touchdown pass thrown by Aidan Warner #3 and caught by Torian Roberts #8, and a touchdown by Walker Adkinson #10 in the 4th quarter. Jaxsen Jones #17 ended the night by blocking an Evans punt. With a final score of 28-0. 

The Wildcats Football team has a lot of skill and a lot of support behind them. Look forward to an exciting rest of the season Wildcats.
